Yin Yoga - Coming Soon

$20.00
Sold Out

A slow-paced style of yoga that targets the deeper connective tissues of the body, rather than focusing on muscles.

It involves holding poses for longer periods, with the goal of gently stressing & stretching these tissues to improve circulation, flexibility, & joint mobility.

Unlike more active (yang) yoga styles, yin yoga emphasizes stillness & mindfulness, allowing practitioners to relax into the poses while observing their breath & sensations.

It also has a meditative quality, encouraging introspection and patience.

Classes are held at Coomba Community Hall on Moorooba Rd Coomba Park.

Please bring a mat, bolster, 2 x blocks, a strap & blanket (a dressing gown belt could be used instead of strap, & pillow or folded towels instead of bolster and blocks).
